At present, the semi-submersible barge “Development Way” has delivered to China Communications Construction Company Limited by SHGSIC.

“Development Way” is the first vessel from LPG to Semi-submersible Barge by domestic design. It is also the first time for our company to attempt this kind conversion project, which obtains more experience in the future.

The LOA of this barge is 215m, BM is 38m, the maximum draft is 12m, the maximum depth is 18m and the DWT is 21500. This barge is applicable in the unlimited navigation area and mainly carries the components of Ocean engineering work machinery, ocean petroleum exploitation platform, big-sized ocean engineering and the facilities of Offshore Wind Energy etc.
