The big-sized ore carrier “Sino Carrier” with DWT 260,000 tons was conversed from VLCC to VLOC by SHGSIC for Korean STX POS SHIPPING MAMAGEMENT CO. The LOA of the original vessel is 324m, BM is 56m, the DP is 30m and the DWT is 280,000tons. The main particulars keep the former ones except the DWT changes as 260,000 tons. This project was delivered more than one month ahead of contract time and wins the high appraisal of owners by high quality.
